The Marion Central School Board of Education is very committed to the education of the children in the Marion Central School District. The Board is made up of Marion residents elected by the community for three-year terms. We are committed to our students, staff, and the Marion community. We invite members of the community to attend our meetings. The meeting dates are provided on the school calendar, local papers, and on the district's website. We look forward to seeing you there!

There will be two vacancies for the Marion Central School District Board of Education.
It is a three-year term commencing July 1, 2026 through June 30, 2029.
IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN BECOMING A CANDIDATE for a seat on the Board of Education, petitions are available starting March 1, 2026 at the District Office.
The District Clerk must receive petitions no later than 5:00 p.m. on Monday, April 20, 2026.

Petitions must bear the signatures of at least 25 voters eligible to vote in the Marion Central School District election on May 19, 2026.
A voter may sign a petition for more than one candidate.
To be an eligible voter, an individual must be:
1. A citizen of the United States
2. At least 18 years of age
3. A resident of the school district 30 days or more prior to May 19, 2026
