Marion Elementary School celebrated the Class of 2030 with a Sixth Grade Recognition Ceremony on Monday, June 24.

Mrs. Casey Steiner, Marion Elementary School Principal, welcomed students and guests, and sixth-grader Elizabeth Inman led the Pledge of Allegiance.

Aidan Miller, valedictorian of Marion’s Class of 2024, and Landon Wertz, salutatorian of the Class of 2024, shared words of advice with the class. Bristol Tack addressed her sixth-grade classmates, and Eliza Frey read the poem, “Be True to You.”

The evening also included performances of “Rise Up” by the Sixth Grade Choir, “Thriller” by the Sixth Grade Band, and “I’m Still Standing” by the Sixth Grade Show Choir.

Mrs. Michele Kuelling joined Mrs. Steiner in presenting diplomas as Mr. Jeffrey Molisani read the names of each class member.

The evening concluded with a slide show of the class trip to Camp Stella Maris, prepared by  Mrs. Alyson Clair, and the singing of the school alma mater.
