Purpose:

The council's purpose is to ensure both horizontal and vertical alignment of a quality educational system, including the development of curriculum, assessments, instruction, and professional development.

Composition:

All administrators, TOSAs, and project leaders attend and participate in CIC.  The Learning Standard groups provide input and information to inform our conversation and decision-making.  Anyone is welcome to attend the meetings.

• Plans, implements, monitors, and evaluates efforts related to curriculum, assessment, instruction, and professional development.
• Provides two-way communication with all stakeholders
• Consensus is used to make decisions.
