ANNUAL ASBESTOS COMPLIANCE NOTIFICATION

In accordance with the State Education Department and Federal Asbestos Hazard Emergency Response Act (AHERA) requirements, Marion CSD facilities are regularly inspected to ensure that no hazardous asbestos conditions exist in school buildings.

The Marion CSD commissioned ENSR Corporation, a NYS Licensed asbestos management firm to conduct a comprehensive asbestos survey of all school buildings and to design and monitor asbestos abatement work necessary to facilitate the renovation project. The Marion CSD is in full compliance with all state and federal asbestos safety requirements.
