Asbestos Compliance

**ANNUAL ASBESTOS COMPLIANCE NOTIFICATION**

 

As required by the State Education Department and the Federal Asbestos Hazard Emergency Response Act (AHERA), the Marion Central School District (CSD) conducts regular inspections to ensure that there are no hazardous asbestos conditions in our school buildings.

To fulfill these requirements, Marion CSD engaged ENSR Corporation, a New York State-licensed asbestos management firm, to perform a comprehensive asbestos survey of all school buildings. ENSR Corporation is also responsible for designing and monitoring any necessary asbestos abatement work to facilitate our renovation projects. We are proud to state that Marion CSD is fully compliant with all state and federal asbestos safety regulations.
